Roger is so excited we are actually getting rain. We have not had rain in like 21 days. I hate to post this because I know my Florida friends and MichelleO in Texas have all had their share but we are really, really dry. Got a couple of layouts completed tonight. I am trying to tie up a few loose ends before I start anymore layouts. I have to finish Mama's book and then I hope to try to get started on some Christmas gifts...you know we will blink and it will be here.
Well we won our first ballgame....YEAH..You may wonder why I'm so excited about a ballgame..well Brady is 12 yrs old and this is the first time he has ever played a sport in "our town". We have always had to travel at least a hour and sometimes more to see him in any sport he has played. Christi has moved closer and she agreed to let him play in Murfreesboro this fall because this is the only time that he and his cousin Chase will get to play together. Son-in-law John coaches the team and does an awesome job. Josh's girlfriend Selena's son is also playing on the team so you can imagine the cheerleader that I am!!! LOL..Just wanted to share a few pics I made last night...I snapped away trying not to embassas them all....
Happy Monday all....boy was that a short weekend or was it just me....they get shorter everyweek I believe. I actually did some scrapbookin' this weekend and had a ball. I took one of my favorite classes Sunday afternoon @ Sassy's from Amie who is an awesome teacher. I will post pics of that when I decide what photos I'm going to use on the layouts. It was a pleating effect look but we didn't actually pleat the paper...I will explain more when I upload. I will post two layouts that I finished. One I actually started in my Cricut class and finished off with some random birthday pics from Brady's 12th birthday and the other one is a layout from Florida that I copied from Colette Bates who is a design team member @ Scrapbook Obsessions...I changed mine a bit with the sizes of pics and some of the embellishments but pretty much same design...Well Josh just called and he is building another car...at least this one is not a dirt track car this one is a drag car...or maybe just a as he would say a "my day" hot rod...That's another story anyway I'm gonna go over and start pics from the ground up for him and he even said I could make him a scrapbook!!! LOL....till later....
Today is my Robin's 6th birthday. I called her earlier and wished her a wonderful day and be it one of the hardest things I have done yet, I won't get to see her today on her birthday. I have gone through this with Brady for years but it doesn't make it any easier believe me. Next weekend we are going to have her a party here with cousins and ballgame and food and our usual outing but it is hard to see that fun today. I hate to post down things but this is just my feelings today maybe if the sun were shining I would feel better....anyway I have lots to do today, I have 2 or 3 scrapbook projects I need to finish before I move on to anything else and I need to do some yard work later on so I need to get busy...hope everyone has a wonderful weekend....

Lilly and I finally got back around to going to back to scrapbook classes tonight. She had surgery and was down for 5 weeks and well my summer has been let's see busy and not the best one I have ever had so we have been missing our classes. Tonight we went to MS BETTYE's cricut class and had a ball. I am going to mat some pics and put it up sometimes this weekend. I have made about 9-10 cards this week so that has been my crafting story for awhile. I will see if I have a pic to post of one of the cards. Have a good Friday everyone!!
You know when Jeremy and Josh were growing up their biggest treat was a new pair of shoes....they loved "Jordan's" and anything else that was all the rage. Josh who actually draws quiet well use to "design" tennis shoes when he was about 9 or 10. I need to look up some of those drawing and show Brady. Anyway on to my story, Brady is just like them. He loves shoes so much and for his birthday this year he wanted to design his own shoes. Now is that not amazing...we went to Nike ID on the web and there it was big as life "design your own shoes". Well one of his best friends and his cousin Chase and I sat and worked on those tennis shoes forever. It really was quiet fun and he could not wait for them to arrive. I would get notices of their progress and of course text him and let him know and finally 2 days before schedule they arrived...he was one happy young man!!
I have been a very bad blogger. I just can't seem to keep everything going anymore. After all day at work I'm about zapped, that's not a good sign is it!! LOL...I signed up for an ATC swap on the Fiskateer website and those of you that read my blog (all 2 of you) know I screwed up the last time I was doing a ATC swap and signed up for tag swap. Well let me tell you Deborah did an awesome job with the tag swap and I've really enjoyed my tags. I am going to take a pic of them for the blog maybe tomorrow she was also so sweet and RAK'd me a hugh baggie of ribbon. Anyway back to my ATC swap, I have to do an acrylic ATC. I'm posting my take on it after much thinking and forgetting to go to Sassy and get a piece of Hambly, I finally decided to us a transparancy with a printed Hambly over it...it turned out okay but I'm still not savvy with the spray adhesive..I've got a couple of cards to share tomorrow...Have a great Tuesday!!
