Okay I'm alittle early or late but I scrapped some Halloween pics last weekend. I had so much fun digging up my papers and embellies and printing out the pictures. Halloween is one of my favorite times to scrap and I didn't get alot scrapped this past year. I have a few more to do and also my Halloween album so you may see more spooky layouts before October!!
Today I'm sharing my layout of the month from my LSS. One of the girls at the store creates a two page layout and we get supplies and put our spin on it and bring it back the next month and that allows us to stay in the monthly fun.....clear as mud??!! LOL...anyway it was pink and I knew immediatly the girls were my subjects...I told them I needed to do a photo shoot and they were so funny. Robin loves to pose in her "model" pose postitions, well of course Vannie tries to mock her and it turns out so funny....Okay later in the week I'm gonna share my new found love IRIS FOLDING...I have had so much fun this weekend making cards using iris folding....Have a great Monday....
Okay I'm gonna try again to upload and see what happens...I'm gonna upload a couple of layouts I did for a challenge on the Fiskateers website. It was to dig in your stash and use up some old stuff. I pulled out some of my older paper with a snow theme and decided to scrap a couple of pics....
I thought I would post last month's cricut class since next week we have the March class. I wanted to also share some pics of Roger and I playing in the snow but for some reason Blogger is not letting me upload them. Feb. cricut class was one of my favorites....Ms. Bettye (aka Bet Bet) really did a fabulous layout for us to do. It was titled SHADES and after searching my pics I decided on one of Savannah that my son-in -law John had made of her back in the summer. I used the Picasa program (thanks Jing Jing)to do the different shades of sepia that I tinted the photos in. The butterflies were so pretty and that is the India Art Cart. I can't remember the cart. the words SHADES was done in but if you would like to know leave me a message and I'll ask Bettye and post. I'll upload more tomorrow if blogger will let me!!! LOL..
What a wonderful time Lilly and I had at the Cave City Kentucky Fiskars Fun Day. We went up Friday afternoon spent the night and were up early this morning ready to "play"!! We had wonderful classes, great make and takes lots of shopping and fabulous friends. My friend and lead fiskateer Rebecca Peck came and taught classes along with Stephenie Hamen one our legandery lead. Hopefully I will get my projects completed with pictures tomorrow and get some pics up on the blog. I am posting some fun pics of today.....
I'm way to old to wish my life away but I tend to celebrate hump day!!! LOL. Today I'm posting just some simple cards that I made and sent to family for Valentines Day. I used the Fiskars heart squeeze with what I call the ruffle around it. It was in my bag of goodies from my FiskaFrenzy from Rebecca. I have used that little punch a ton. I can't wait to get my hands on some of the new punches. Lilly and I are going to Cave City KY. to a Fiskars crop next week and I'm gearing up already. I don't really do well at crops coz I tend to socialize. Now those of you that know me I know you find that hard to believe!!! LOL..We are going to have several classes/make and takes so I'm really excited already. Okay so I'm gonna work on some layouts and get ready for my cricut class tomorrow night...Have a good Thursday everyone.....
Hopefully this week I can post a couple of my cards and projects that I have worked on for Valentines day. Even though I didn't get my mantle decorated I'm still putting a few things up. Kelly Jo put this project on the Fiskateer lead blog and it really caught my eye. I think she used larger pics and not quiet as many embellies but the jest is the same!!! I thought it would be good to put on my desk at work to cheer it up alittle!!! It is just made out of chipboard the size I used was 4 x 6 1/2 and covered it with my wonderful Valentine goodies that my friend Rebecca sent me from Cloud Nine and Fiskars. I used a piece of glitter felt and just cut a heart and used some netting and a couple of heart stick pins. The other different embellie is one that Lisa Pace had on her blog sometime ago and it is made from create paper....just plain ole create paper like when I was a kid that I used to decorate with all the time....I ran a running stitch on one edge with embordiary thread and pulled and that made the bunch effect. I then used stickles on the edges....I really enjoyed making this little project....thanks for visiting...
Well since it is almost time to have my next cricut class @ Sassy's I will share last month's page...I just love Ms.Bettye's cricut class as I learn something new each and every time. I did learn this time that it would have been much easier to have had the expression to do my owls with as my friends Lilly and Marsha told me. They both offered use of their's but me and the baby bug made it through!! LOL...The owls were 3 different cuts and I won't tell you how many times it took me!!! LOL Anyway I used Roger and Chubba on the beach in Naples Florida for this layout "Who's the Cutest"..I'll post my class this week soon!! Thanks for visiting....
I don't know about all of you but I'm ready for sunny and 80....I hate to even say anything after the hardships our neighbors Kentucky have had with all the ice but I was so glad to see the sun today...I am still working on ATC's I signed up for two more swaps after saying I was going to catch up before signing up for anything else...oh well. I am working on a Fairy Tale ATC card and just finished a couple that I will post today. I finished up my Valentine cards and did alittle Valentine project that I will post this week.
